Mentoring Programs

The Princess Project

The Princess Project is dedicated to mentoring and motivating young girls who are socioeconomically disadvantaged between the ages of 12-19. We  provide the following services:

  • A annual empowerment luncheon which includes self-esteem building exercises

  • Sessions taught by professionals in various areas such as medical, hair, money management to name a few

  • Dress for success techniques with clothing examples

  • Encouragement in education and a gateway to the Higher Education  Advocates Program

  • Character Building Sessions

  • A Fine dining experience with china, glasses, silver wear, linen napkins and real roses

  • A high tea class

  • An Annual Pampering Event from the partnership of a Hair Salon/Spa

  • Provide free clothing from donated sources 

  • Money Management Classes

  • Enrichment classes such as Guitar, Running, ACT/SAT Prep, Meditation and Bible Classes.

Higher Education Advocates Program

The College Connection Advocates is a program dedicated to the advancement of socioeconomically disadvantaged kids into higher education from start to finish. We provide the following services:

  • We assist students both pre and post high school to access of higher education

  • We provide services from start to finish which include, but not limited to ACT registration assistance, admissions applications, the admissions process, financial aid, and dorm room housing paperwork assistance with follow through of all services.

  • We provide parental education of the higher education process.

  • We can coordinate transportation to college, college scout trips, transportation to orientation and college drop offs with dorm room setups.

  • We provide internet access, printing and computer access to parents and students.

  • We provide encouragement to the parents and students along with intervention if the student needs it while away at college

  • We provide assistance with scholarship applications as needed.

  • We coordinate assistance for dorm room essentials to students living on a college campus if needed

A Kings Kid

A Kings Kid is dedicated to mentoring and motivating young men who are socioeconomically disadvantaged between the ages of 13-19. We  provide the following services:

  • Sessions taught by professionals in various areas such as medical, money,music,education and sports

  • Dress for Success programs

  • Encouragement in education and a gateway to the Higher Education Advocates Program

  • Character Building Sessions

  • Faith Filled Sessions 

  • Money Management Classes

  • Enrichment classes such as Guitar, Running, ACT/SAT Prep, Meditation and Bible Classes.
